Pricing Specialist

The new group is referred to as BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions and is wholly owned by BASF. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pricing Specialist to join our global Transfer Pricing team. In this role, you will support the development, implementation, and documentation of intra-group pricing policies across our global operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Tax and Business Units, ensuring compliance with local and international transfer pricing regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Support intercompany pricing analysis and calculation of transfer prices (TP) within the BASF ECMS Group in accordance with tax requirements and internal BASF policies
• Support to enhance pricing tool and keeping proper documentation of TP applied
• Support operational teams in different countries regarding TP topics
• Calculate financial indicators of BASF group entities for TP purposes
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the TP function
• Support internal and external audits, including tax authority queries

Requirements:

• University degree of economics / accounting / business
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience with pricing calculation and SAP (SAP S4/Hana preferred)
• Familiar with complex business processes
• Capable to understand technical background of functional requirements
• Implement solutions in collaboration with functions and IT
• Familiar with MS-Office applications
• Strong communication skills in English
• Willingness to develop and transfer knowledge
• Open-mined and willingness to try out new ways
