ECMS operates globally in 15 countries with approximately 20 production sites and over 4,000 employees.
Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly forecasting, quarterly reporting, and executive financial analysis.
- Act as the main finance partner for Corporate Finance & Reporting, ensuring reporting quality and timely delivery.
- Lead, develop, and mentor the controlling team.
- Drive P&L and cost analysis to identify business risks and opportunities.
- Present financial results, forecasts, and budgets to senior leadership.
- Own the annual budgeting and planning process, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Develop financial dashboards and analytics to support business decisions.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and reporting consistency.
- Lead finance transformation through automation, digitalization, and process improvement.
- Provide financial insights, scenario analysis, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead cross-functional and global controlling initiatives, promoting best practices.
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis and decision support for senior stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in financial reporting, controlling, FP&A, or financial analysis in a multinational environment.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end financial planning and reporting cycles.
- Experience with BASF/ECMS reporting systems is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience, including team development.
- Ability to influence senior leadership through financial insights and business recommendations.
- Experience presenting financial analyses to executive stakeholders.
- Experience working in global, cross-functional, and matrix organizations.
- Proven track record in finance transformation, automation, and process improvement.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting, and financial metrics.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including data analysis and visualization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and financial storytelling capabilities.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
