Responisibilities:
- Represent the EMEA region in the global IT management meetings to reflect regional needs and demands in the overall IT service and application landscape.
- Offer a direct escalation channel for the business for IT services and applications, lead root cause analyses and actively drive Continuous Service Improvement measures.
- Engage with business and functional units to understand IT demands and vendor requirements.
- Oversee and determine timeframes for EMEA-wide IT project portfolio including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and data operations for EMEA and report to global.
- Apply and adapt global policies and procedures to EMEA region.
- Sign off on project milestones based on technical readiness and compatibility with as-is technical landscape and system architecture.
- Supervise and oversee IT Local Specialists in EMEA region, while working closely with other IT stakeholders.
- Manage relevant IT vendor contracts along the entire contract lifecycle – oversee regional license portfolio.
- Collaborate with vendors to mitigate risks and identify improvements for EMEA region.
- Ensure deliverables from vendors are compliant with IT budget, architecture, security guidelines, standards and SLAs.
- Sign off on project milestones in alignment with vendors.
- Ensure that teams perform in line with overall business and IT strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mgmt. info systems (MIS), business administration with IT affinity or related field or equivalent work experience IT affinity or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of Information Technology experience.
- 5+ years of IT vendor and service management experience incl. project management and commercial contracts mgmt. experience.
- 3+ years experience in a functional lead position.
- Experience with IT performance and service management as well as IT project management.
- Experience in managing and interacting with third party service providers.
- Strong and proven knowledge in overall functioning of an IT environment (infrastructure, applications, services, databases, etc.) and interdependencies.
- Ability to support and oversee projects through project management skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL, ISO, Quality Management standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business-orientation.
- A high level of self-motivation to make things happen.
- Full business proficiency in English and local language.
