The new group is referred to as BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions and is wholly owned by BASF. BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions will operate globally in over 15 countries and comprise of approximately 20 production sites and over 4,000 employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop reporting solutions utilizing Power BI to provide business and functional management with the data needed to make financially sound decisions
- Proactively identify reporting needs by understanding key value drivers and translating these into visualizations in Power BI to facilitate a deeper understanding of financial performance
- Review processes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements via automation, and develop these solutions directly or by partnering with other teams (IT, finance)
- Develop and manage the analytics and reporting strategy for the ECMS division, including collaborating with business and functional units to ensure alignment on requirements
- Partner with the IT team to ensure data warehouse capabilities support financial reporting requirements for the business
- Support training activities for the organization on general Power BI functionality and for specific reporting tools
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in a financial, data analytics, or business-related field
- Demonstrated experience developing reporting solutions in Power BI preferably with a focus on financial reporting
- Proficient communication in English both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge and understanding of financial metrics preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex business problems, processes, and technical material to diverse audiences
