RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of internal executive and employee messaging aligned with our business strategy, mission and values, and focused on increasing employee engagement across the organization.
  • Leveraging your education and your strong storytelling skills, you will create and execute an editorial calendar that supports the ECMS culture and drives employee engagement. You will manage communication mailboxes and distribution lists and act as the primary distributor of all-employee messages.
  • Using your journalism, communications, or related experience, you will manage the development and execution of digital employee communications tools and tactics for the company such as our intranet, newsletters, employee events and digital signage. You will also help coordinate town halls and other internal events supported by the Communications Team.
  • Managing an ECMS-wide annual employee awards program and associated activities, including facilitating the selection process and awards event.
  • Promoting best practices, branding guidelines and editorial policies for our global communicators around the world, you will ensure there is a unified approach to communications within ECMS. 
  • Ensuring ECMS communications channels (intranet, digital signage) are effectively used and managed. May also include production of graphics, visual assets, videos, etc. This includes coordination of associated budgets and managing vendor relationships. 
  • Measuring the effectiveness of employee communications through digital analytics, surveys and other key performance indicators will be key as you make data-driven recommendations.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in a corporate environment.
  • Must have: the ability to travel internationally and domestically to site locations or ECMS events as needed (<10%).
  • Strong understanding of communications processes, guidelines, policies and practices.
  • Proven strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with diverse global matrixed and cross-cultural teams is a plus.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and MS Teams is essential; graphic design, photo and video-editing software desirable.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the job.
  • Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and initiative.
