As SAP Integration & Data Specialist, you will support stable and efficient data exchange between our company and business partners.
The Integration & Data Support Specialist will work with EDI integrations, SAP/ERP systems, and structured data to support business-critical processes. You will cooperate with international business teams, IT experts, and external partners to implement new integrations, investigate issues, and improve existing data flows. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical expertise in EDI and system integration while contributing to the standardization and continuous improvement of global processes.
Responsibilities:
- EDI Integration and Implementation: Support the onboarding of new customers and suppliers by collecting requirements, supporting configuration and testing activities, validating data and mapping results, and ensuring compliance with automotive industry standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Data Flow Monitoring and Issue Resolution: Monitor existing EDI connections and business-critical data flows. Analyze transaction errors, system alerts, and data inconsistencies, resolve basic issues, and coordinate more complex problems with IT teams and external EDI providers.
- Business, Customer and IT Collaboration: Work closely with Business Partners, SAP/ERP experts, internal IT and business, and external EDI providers. Support testing activities, clarify business requirements, and ensure effective communication between business and technical teams.
- Data Validation and System Support: Validate data consistency across SAP/ERP systems, EDI platforms, and external business partners. Support the investigation of integration issues and contribute to stable and reliable data exchange.
- Documentation and Continuous Improvement: Maintain documentation for EDI integrations, testing results, and known issues. Support the standardization of global EDI processes and contribute ideas for automation, process improvement, and increased data flow stability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of structured data formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, or TXT.
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, Java, or similar.
- Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, or data transfer concepts.
- Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP SD/MM experience is preferred.
- Understanding of logistics, supply chain, or Order-to-Cash processes is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to identify data and process inconsistencies.
- Good communication skills and ability to cooperate with business teams, IT experts, customers, suppliers, and external partners.
- Proactive approach, willingness to learn, and ability to quickly understand new technologies and processes.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
