As the Quality Lab Support Specialist, you will LEAD by……….

 

The Quality Lab Support Specialist provides quality and lab support for the Seneca and Converse sites. This position is responsible for conducting lab testing activities common to both sites, maintaining quality documentation, coordinating lab supply procurement, and administering training records to ensure compliance with company quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements. The role serves as a key resource in supporting efficient lab operations and the effectiveness of the Quality Management System across both locations.

 

The Quality Lab Support Specialist role is a hybrid role splitting its time between our locations in Seneca and Converse.  The expectation for the most part will be 2 days a week in Seneca, 2 days in Converse and this individual will have the opportunity to work 1 day remotely. 

 

In this role you will 

Lab Testing Support

  • Provide flexible support across both Seneca and Converse sites based on business needs.
  • Perform routine lab testing common between the Seneca and Converse sites.
  • Ensure testing is conducted in accordance with approved methods, work instructions, and quality procedures.
  • Accurately document and maintain test results and supporting records.

Quality Documentation Management

  • Assist in the creation, revision, and maintenance of lab work instructions.
  • Support document updates and ensure controlled documents are current and available for use.
  • Partner with site quality personnel to implement process and procedure updates.

Procurement and Inventory Assistance

  • Assist with the procurement process for lab consumables and supplies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and replenishment to prevent disruptions to lab operations.
  • Assist with purchase requisitions and established purchasing procedures.

Training Management Administration

  • Maintain lab training records for quality personnel.
  • Monitor training status and provide reports to management regarding compliance.
  • Assist in maintaining compliance related to training documentation.

 

Your elements for success……

  • Associate’s degree in science, Quality, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a quality, laboratory, manufacturing, or regulated environment required.
  • Experience with document control, training administration, or procurement processes is desirable.
  • Experience working within a Quality Management System is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across two locations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping and documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic record systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and laboratory operations preferred.

The competitive Pay Range for this role is $65k-$85k annually. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
