Objectives of the Position
- Responsible for supporting the Asia-Pacific Commercial team to manage the daily trading and commercial activities related to Precious Metals
- Provide support in maintaining relationships with customers, relevant partners
- Supports the Commercial Team with periodic data analysis and market research, derives key insights, and prepares documentation to support drive implementation of defined action plans

Main Tasks
- Resonsible for daily commercial activities- order placing, trade bookings in system, daily order documentation, PGM price benchmarks tracking, etc.
- Work closely with various functions (e.g. Controlling, Sales, Customer Services, etc.) from CC-EE and get market/OEM/customer insight for PGM management and business decision.
- Communicate with selected external customers for order and contract execution, and maintain customer relationship.
- Responsible for supporting PGM sourcing and supply for China-based precious metal need.
- Work with global teams and share relevant demand/market information for global management on PGM.
- Monitor and ensure the daily FX/ metal position within limits; interact closely with the Trading / Ops / Finance teams for daily tasks.
- Analyze various data on PGM demand/volume, monthly forecast, SPA, etc. to support business decision.
- Communicates with suppliers, CC-EE, and BACH PGM Plant / Operation teams to manage and coordinate metal deliveries based on the plant production plan.
- Analyze the relationship between customer metal pricing demand, metal physical demand, and metal solution demand for commercial proposals, track BACH DOHby process steps through data visualization tool.
- Update the external systems as necessary, including customer system. e.g. customer quotation system, customer supply system, EHS Risk Management System etc.; Input data, check, and maintain data integrity in internal trading systems.
- Responsible for the management, classification, sorting, filing and custody of the company's sales/purchase contracts and other commercial documents.
- Supports the commercial team to manage the CC-EM credit application process, including AML, for any new or existing business counterparties. Monitor credit exposure and manage credit risk of relevant counterparties on a daily basis.
- Work with the CC-EM Trading teams in different regions for metals hedging, FX hedging.

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position
- Education: Academic credentials with a bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering
- Working Experience: Relevant experience in commercial roles with at least 3 years in industry is preferred
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: Proficiency in English required. Can lead the meeting/discussion in English or present a professional topic and reply to the questions in English, influence stakeholders in English. Strong analytical skills, and summarizing skills to prepare and present key insights
- Personal features: Must have the ability to work independently and proactively seek identification of insights to support the value creation for the business. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to communicate across functions. Actively willing to solve the problems
