Objectives of the Position

  • Act as a key contact window for fixed assets
  • Perform the key account reconciliation: GRIR /  Cash advance deposit / Freight TM accruals and clearance

Main Tasks

  • Act as the key contact and process owner for long-term assets for Shanghai CCE LEs, ensuring compliance and safeguarding company assets and support the quarterly/annual financial statement disclosure related to long-term assets.
  • Manage the full-cycle accounting for fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, internal transfer and period-end closing activities.
  • Coordinate and execute the annual physical count-on for fixed assets.
  • Serve as the system owner of Global Leasing Center (GLC), ensuring all lease accounting is fully compliant with IFRS 16 and corporate requirement.
  • Execute and enhance the month-end close process for FA and AP areas, ensuring timeliness, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Perform monthly review and cleanup of GR/IR account, clearing items overdue beyond 3 months.
  • Review monthly cash advance/deposit lists and uncleared down payment lists (provided by BPO).
  • Conduct quarterly review and cleanup of freight TM accruals, clearing items overdue beyond 3 months.
  • Oversee export tax refund documentation for relevant entities.
  • Support FA & AP processes for Financial Reporting Compliance (FRC) related topics.
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned. 

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree with preferred ACCA, CPA or other professional certifications.
  • Working Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in GL & FA, especially FA management
  • Rich practical experience on AP & FA processes
  • Proficiency in SAP is preferred
  • Strong communication & interaction skills, can proactively monitor the work progress
  • Ability to communicate both written and verbal, in English, at all levels of the organization
