As a Supply Chain Planner, you will LEAD by……….

 

In this role you will be the North American Precious Metals Chemicals (PMC) Supply Chain Planner responsible for supporting Supply Chain planning and projects throughout the Precious Metals Supply Chain supporting the Precious Metal Chemicals (PMC) business. 

 

This role will be based at the Seneca, SC site and will be required to be on site 5 days per week.

 

In this role you will:

  • Plan production of the PMC product line in Seneca, ensuring that forecasts and customer orders are met effectively, new requests and changes are quickly managed, and inventories and operational resources are optimized.
  • Support the set-up and execution of SAP transactions to support the Seneca production facility and commercial team, including the development of a more robust Production Planning tool. 
  • Maintain and enhance tools and databases used to support Supply Chain Management processes.
  • Engage and coordinate with cross-functional members of the Seneca site to enable end-to-end process efficiencies. Specifically, Manufacturing, Dispensing, Vault, and Warehouse teams to ensure production, packaging, and shipping requirements are met.
  • Monitor adherence to the plan and work collaboratively with the Seneca production team to resolve any issues that arise.
  • Manage the forecasting and ordering of Precious Metal raw materials, enabling you to adapt quickly to changing market conditions.
  • Summarize and visualize findings and opportunities, so they may be effectively shared throughout the organization to increase transparency and improve profitability.
  • Lead cross-functional discussions to resolution, develop standard business practices, and translate customer needs into realistic supply chain offerings.

 

Your elements for success……

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology or Business Management
  • 2+ years of supply chain planning experience required
  • Working knowledge of SAP related to Production Planning activities required.  Additional SAP modules such as Purchasing, Order and Inventory Management, Material and Plant Set-up, and Logistics Execution will be of additional benefit preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Collaboration and Analytics tools – including Power BI preferred.
  • Data analysis & data management skills, and experience with data management tools, and distilling data into information preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, reporting, and presentation skills, as well as interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and networking skills.

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices.  The competitive Pay Range for this role is $85k-$105k annually. Actual pay will be determine based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factor permitted by law.
