As the Site Coordinator – Seneca, SC you will LEAD by……….

 

We are seeking a professional like you to manage key site programs/processes/events, assist the Global Manufacturing Director and Site Director performing general administrative duties at the site that will enhance the employee experience at BASF ECMS, as well as maintain overall compliance. From enriching the diversity of the site by involvement with the Employee Resource Groups to affecting the way we select, train and communicate to our site team, you will take a leadership role in many aspects of the site culture development in Seneca. 

 

This role is one where you will interact with all levels within the organization and work under pressure in a professional environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism.  Additionally, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your strong mindset for operational excellence of process site standardization, cost savings, etc. and exhibit cost-conscious behavior in the utilization of company resources.

 

In this role you will:

  • Provide direct support to the Global Director of Manufacturing, Site Director and with the site leadership/extended leadership team including the Community Relations/Communications Manager as needed.
  • Provide support to the Site Leader and Extended Leadership team in many projects.
  • Provide overall administrative support to the Site Director and other departments as necessary (ordering admin area supplies, as Amazon order approver for the site, maintaining office machines, report preparation, mail distribution, P.O. request and processing invoices using the SAP system, and supporting the Iron Mountain Document Retention Program and Secure document shredding program). 
  • Plan, manage and participate in various employee, charitable and community engagements, community STEM activities and related events (benefits fairs, career/job fair participation, Seneca site and area events, BASF ECMS programs/engagements, etc.) for the site. Will also coordinate and organize on-site and off-site meetings for various departments through the plant.  Periodically off hours event participation may be required for community events.

 

Your elements for success……

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field is preferred and 5 years of Executive level Administration Experience.
  • Event Management and planning skills are a plus
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite application and Outlook Calendar experience and SAP knowledge or ability to learn SAP for P.O. generation and invoice processing
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, initiative, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization and achieve alignments with various stakeholders
  • Demonstrate strong internal and external customer service focus to build and maintain positive working relations within the plant and in the community.
  • The ability to attend off hours community events periodically as needed.

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $65k-$85k annually. Actual pay will be determine based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factor permitted by law.
