As an E & I Technician you will…
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems (24V–480V, 3-phase). Types of equipment include but are not limited to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and burner systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical failures using meters, test equipment, and diagnostic tools.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Provide technical support for equipment installation and repairs.
- Install, program, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation. Types of instrumentation include but are not limited to pressure, flow, temperature, level, and gas detectors.
- Gather and analyze technical data and recommend needed repairs or modification.
- Maintain grounding systems, lighting, and control wiring.
- Install and program VFD’s, control valves, temperature controllers, etc.
- Assist automation engineers with PLC and HMI troubleshooting.
- Participate in reliability improvement projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use your knowledge of electrical distribution to repair issues within MCC buckets and breaker panels.
- Assist in establishing or modifying work procedures including PM's to meet the demands of the site.
- Make recommendations to improve maintenance and production operations.
- Be self-directed with minimal supervision.
- Operate, maintain and install complex equipment.
- Follow all electrical safety protocols, including LOTO and arc flash standards.
- Perform loop checks, signal verification, and accuracy testing.
- Effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Work a flexible schedule, including call-in and impromptu overtime on nights and weekends.
- Utilize BOM’s to find repair materials as needed.
Qualifications:
- Have a High School Diploma or GED & 2 years of experience in an Industrial Instrumentation Maintenance Industry
- Associate degree in Electronics, Automation, Instrumentation or Mechatronics, preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Allen Bradley, preferred.
- Experience with gas burners and associated control systems, preferred.

The competitive Pay Range for this role is $32.00 - $38.00/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
