Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician II
Pay range: $35.00–$45.00 per hour
Shift differential: $1.00/hr. for night shift
Shift Schedule: 12 hour (Week 1: Mon, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Sign-on Bonus: $5,000, paid in two equal installments: $2,500 after six months of employment and $2,500 upon completion of the first year.
Relocation may be considered for qualified candidates.

You will install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot industrial electrical and instrumentation systems while partnering with maintenance, operations, reliability, and automation teams to improve equipment performance.

What you will do:
Electrical and instrumentation maintenance
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems from 24V to 480V, including three-phase power, motor control centers, breaker panels, grounding, lighting, control wiring, and burner systems.
- Install, program, calibrate and maintain pressure, flow, temperature, level, and gas-detection instrumentation, as well as VFDs, control valves, and temperature controllers.
- Perform loop checks, signal verification, accuracy testing, and preventive maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and within specification.
- Operate, maintain, and install complex electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control equipment.
Troubleshooting and technical support
- Diagnose and repair electrical and instrumentation failures using meters, test equipment, diagnostic tools, schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
- Provide technical support for equipment installations, repairs, and modifications.
- Partner with automation engineers to troubleshoot PLC and HMI issues.
- Gather and analyze technical data, recommend repairs or modifications, and use bills of materials to identify required parts.
Safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
- Follow all electrical safety requirements, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and arc-flash standards.
- Support reliability and continuous-improvement projects that reduce downtime and improve maintenance and production performance.
- Work independently, manage multiple priorities, and respond to call-ins or unplanned overtime, including nights and weekends, as business needs require.
What you bring:
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation maintenance
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include call-ins and unplanned overtime on nights and weekends
Preferred qualifications
- Associate degree in electronics, automation, instrumentation, mechatronics, or a related technical field
- Intermediate knowledge of Allen-Bradley systems
