As a Distribution Associate you will LEAD by……
This position is responsible for performing various shipping and receiving and data entry tasks with quality, and in a safe, economical and technically feasible manner. You will work an 8-hour day shift and perform your fair share of overtime duties. Responsibilities include;
- This role will primarily be based at Clemson Central (CC)-Distribution in Central, SC, the successful individual needs to be willing to support and provide coverage at both CC-Distribution and the Seneca warehouse depending on workload demands.
- Provide leadership at CC-Distribution warehouse to the warehouse team.
- Schedule staff at CC-Distribution and coordinate staffing schedules of CC-Distribution and Seneca warehouse
- Execute and trouble shoot receiving and shipping activities in SAP including TM Module and YPMREF. Oversee the shipping and receiving schedule at CC-Distribution.
- Be certified in shipping hazmat by land CFR49 and air IATA and certificated for shipping and receiving waste per RCRA
- Work closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, maintenance, and EVC to coordinate movement of materials into and out warehouse storage
- Inventory coordination, accountability, and accuracy for annual inventory. Execute and reconcile cycle counts throughout the year.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and teamwork to interact effectively with customer support, supply chain planners, and department multiple site logistic coordinators.
- Must be able to work overtime as required. Working occasional weekends to support production.
- Participate in job related training.
- Possess knowledge of proper material handling procedures and general EH&S and safety procedures
- Follow all safety regulations, precious metal controls, and maintain good housekeeping standards.
- Exhibit problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Be forklift certified and obtain credentials in train the trainer for mobile equipment
Your elements or success......
- High School Diploma or GED - required
- Experience operating a forklift required.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Proficient with SAP
- 5+ years’ experience in chemical manufacturing or manufacturing environment, previous experience in catalyst manufacturing or refining considered a plus.
- Warehouse and/or logistics experience required

The competitive Pay Range for this role is $31.00-$36.00 hourly. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
