Summary of job responsibilities 

As a Utility & Facility Engineer, to ensure the reliability of the utility & facility system, including the efficiency of preventive and predictive maintenance tasks as assigned. Monitoring and improving the functionality of the utility & facility system for the entire plant equipment. Leading energy-saving project to minimize energy consumption & minimize chemical consumption to save operational costs. Ensure regulation compliance, including Safety, Health & Environmental.

• Strengthen preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability of the utility & facility system.
• Performing maintenance of utility & facility systems such as SCR scrubber, Acid scrubber, Demin-water supply, Wastewater treatment plant, Compressed air system, Chilled water system, Fire alarm/Fire protection system, Air conditioning. To ensure the reliability & functionality of plant operation.
• Monitor & control maintenance expense for utility & facility systems, identify and maintain a critical spare part list to avoid unplanned breakdown.
• Collect utility & facility operational data and maintenance history to analyze the cause of downtime. Set up corrective action to prevent unplanned breakdowns.

• Improve work instruction/check sheet of the utility & facility system to strengthen the overall capability and follow regulations. Coaching & training the maintenance team to improve their skill and be able to understand all guidance on utility & facility operations.

• Monitoring energy & chemical consumption and leading the project to minimize energy & chemical consumption. Coordinate with the authority & internal team to submit the mandatory report without delay.
• According to corporate, company, and statutory EHS requirements, implement the relevant safety and environmental protection policies, including enforcing the observation of all the company’s operations, safety, ecology, and housekeeping guidelines to ensure the working environment supports safety and production quality.
• Safety and housekeeping, Implement and maintain BASF Chemcat (Thailand) Ltd Safety and Responsible Care policy comply to all EHS rule, regulations and RC requirements. Responsibility according to line responsible procedure and deputy regulation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical / chemical engineering or related field
• Above 5 years of experience in manufacturing and related field
• A good understanding of the manufacturing process and a basic knowledge of the process chemistry involved
• Knowledge of IATF16949 / ISO14001
• Basic of English communication
• Demonstrates good customer service skill
