As a Hardware Engineer you will LEAD by……….

• Developing and evaluating circuit concepts for new products using ECAD and rapid prototyping
• Working with vendors and hardware suppliers to implement new designs.
• Developing test fixtures and perform tests of new hardware and software.
• Being proficient in working with circuit boards, microprocessors, and other electronic equipment to ensure it functions properly.
• Collaborating on firmware architecture decisions, development, and deployment including documentation and release management

Your elements for success……

• Bachelor’s Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Engineering. Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with embedded programming and debugging of microcontrollers required.
• Able to read and interpret schematics and datasheets required.
• Proficient with engineering equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers preferred.
• A solid understanding of common communication interfaces such as UART, I2C, SPI, Ethernet preferred.
• 3+ years of designing electronics using embedded systems including creating schematics, PCB layout, hardware bring up, and debugging preferred
• Experience with test automation languages like Python, Tcl, Javascript, and Ruby preferred.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols like modbus, EtherCat, or Profibus preferred.

BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $100,000 -$125,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
