What you can expect

 

The incumbent will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities across the site, managing contractor logistics, and ensuring compliance with safety standards through permit issuing. Additionally, the incumbent will be actively involved in managing and executing various facility-related projects, ensuring that all maintenance and upgrades are completed on time and within budget. Duties will include the following:

 

  • Planning and coordinating facility maintenance activities across the site
  • Coordinating and administering maintenance, repairs and modifications on all Buildings, Roads, Fences and other facilities infrastructure including the Sprinkler System and Pump Station, Electrical Distribution and Transformers, Generators, DI Water Plant, Air-conditioning, Sewerage, Passenger and Goods Lifts, PM Hoists and Dock Levelers (and related lifting equipment)
  • Ensuring compliance with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) guidelines and procedures
  • Raising orders in SAP and following up on the delivery of goods/services to ensure effective facilities management
  • Managing the logistics of contractors and ensuring compliance with safety standards through permit issuing
  • Managing allocated projects within budget, ensuring high-quality standards and timely completion
  • Hands on approach for routine and ad hoc work where basic hand skills are required
  • Recommending, reviewing and implementing new and existing preventive schedules and ad hoc work
  • Delivering on Departmental KPI's 

 

What we expect

 

  • Electrical, Mechanical or Millwright Engineering (completed trade qualification)
  • Minimum 3 years general maintenance experience is essential
  • Technical background in good engineering practices is required
  • Project and contractor management experience is essential
  • Minimum 2 years technical background with CMMS (PRAGMA or SAP PM) experience
  • Sound communication skills in English
