We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Management Accountant to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting across our business. What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of our Finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will:

  • Deliver accurate accounting and reporting for our metals trading business.

  • Prepare and analyse daily broker reconciliations.

  • Take ownership of month-end and year-end financial close processes.

  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure smooth and successful year-end reporting.

  • Assist in preparing statutory account schedules, respond to tax-related queries, and support cash management activities.

  • Contribute to monthly and annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls to support compliance and reporting integrity.

  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and participate in financial reporting compliance audits.

  • Provide treasury support including management of foreign currency exposures and business cash flow insights.


What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring a blend of technical expertise and commercial awareness, along with the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team.  

You'll be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

You'll have experience in a similar industry or trading environment

You'll have a proven track record of preparing statutory accounts and managing month-end reporting under pressure and to tight deadlines

You'll have hands-on experience working with external auditors and be comfortable with leading on the process

You will have strong communication skills and a collaborative, business-focused mindset

You will be naturally curious with a desire to understand and influence business performance
