Regional Key Account Manager Heavy-Duty Diesel 1

The purpose of the role is to regionally develop the Heavy-Duty Diesel business for selected On- and Off-Road customers, and to drive the regional development and expansion of the marine segment within the CC EE business unit.
The successful candidate will need to:
• Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships Serve as the main point of contact for selected customers, ensuring regular and effective communication and engagement at appropriate levels
• Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships
• Drive profitable revenue growth by identifying new regional business opportunities within (1) existing accounts and (2) exploring new, defined segments
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver customer requirements
• Identify customer requirements, issues, and business opportunities, and communicate them effectively to relevant internal stakeholders
• Lead or support regional responses to RFIs, RFQs, and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with corporate pricing and approval guidelines • Coordinate and guide quarterly budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for assigned accounts and segments
• Monitor regional account performance against budget and adjust forecasts as needed
• Develop and execute account roadmaps as needed, in collaboration with and under the guidance of the Global Key Account Manager
• Ensure regional activities align with global account goals
• Monitor market trends, customer developments, and competitive activity in the region
• Share relevant insights and intelligence with internal stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
We are looking for a candidate who has a:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or chemical, or commerce, advanced degree and/or additional degree in these fields is a strong plus
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in (technical) sales, marketing,
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive key account management
• Fluent in Business English, both written and spoken
• Proficient in standard PC software applications
• Project management skills
• Ability to impact and influence others
• Target-oriented with a clear focus on achieving results
• Flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and priorities
