As the Global Business Manager, PMC you will LEAD by……….
The Global Business Manager PMC is responsible for steering and developing the business segment that is central to the overall strategy of Precious Metal Chemicals (PMC) within ECMS. This includes operational management of the PMC product portfolio globally and managing PMC cost development and continuous improvement initiatives at relevant sites. The focus is the development of the PMC business in the context of market development and the overall strategy.
The incumbent is a key member of the extended leadership team and will be accountable for the P&L of the PMC product portfolio. The role oversees pricing, profitability and portfolio management, acting as the main interface between our front-end commercial activities with customers and partners, and the back-end operations and the functions supporting them. Responsibilities include the implementation of product strategies as well as developing and executing the necessary actions to support our global strategy. Success is measured by P&L bottom line, effective business management of the assigned product lines, and implementation of profitable actions in line with our global strategy.
Asset Management:
- Steer decision making to maximize efficiency & effectiveness through production assets
- Develop site and asset strategies to support profitable business development
- Define and coordinate introduction of new products and technologies
Margin Management:
- Margin management of the assigned product lines globally
- Ownership of pricing and the overall pricing process
- Implementation of new product strategies per market segment, including retention and growth strategies
- Business financial forecasting
- Lead the development of the short-term plan
Profitable business development:
- Collaborate with Commercial team to deliver profitable growth for targeted products
- Coordinate growth projects across business divisions and functions
- Focus on execution
Product Group Strategy:
- Develops & Implements the Portfolio Strategy and monitors global competitive landscape
- Interacts with Commercial team to identify growth opportunities per market segment
- Promotes digital tools to expand reach into the market
Your elements for Success………
- Master’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related discipline
- A minimum of 10+ years of progressive commercial experience in a global environment
- Understanding of the precious metals markets is required
- Experience in the chemical industry preferred
- Demonstrated strength in establishing and maintaining relationships at all levels
- Ability to utilize excellent interpersonal skills and successfully interact with, and influence, the organization, industry experts, and senior management
- Proven track record of working in a start-up like mode, fostering new ideas into tangible new business opportunities
- Ability to build organizational alignment
- Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% of the time

The competitive Pay Range for this role is $190k-$230k annually. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
