Site Buyer - Huntsville, AL

Our team is searching for a Site Buyer to provide professional Procurement expertise to the ECMS business.  The Site Buyer will work at our Huntsville, AL site executing buying needs according to the ECMS Procurement Guidelines in cooperation with the Procurement and business unit teams.

As a Site Buyer, you will LEAD by…

• Contributing to ECMS, BU and site performance, drive EBIT and additional value contribution, and provide transparency on progress, opportunities, blocks etc. Actively engage with business partners to promote ECMS objectives, manage & challenge requirements as a partner and deliver site needs, Procurement and BU targets.
• Providing single point of contact/support for all site Procurement needs (end to end) as site buyer providing bridge to wider Procurement organization and functional experts

• Managing suppliers (negotiations, innovation, development, meetings, sourcing, assessment) as well as market intelligence.

• Ensure purchase requisitions are appropriately managed through the P2P process in a prompt and efficient manner, supporting /training requisitioners in effective system usage.
• Work with ECMS P2P Bex functional process experts to maintain global SAP system functionality & performance and maintain local SAP data / contracts etc and other systems & processes, as may be required.

Your elements for success…

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Engineering or Commercial background required) or min 3 years Strategic Procurement experience
• Experience of purchasing, contract management  or vendor management activities required 
• Experience of SAP R3 or S4 is beneficial
• Act with Entrepreneurial Drive and customer focus
• Communication & Interpersonal understanding
• Excellent administration skills gained within a business environment
• Strong negotiations skills
• Demonstrable workload management, prioritisation & multi-tasking skills
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels both within and outside the company
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to understand our customer needs and adapt common procedures along with taking responsibility and ownership
• Familiar with Excel, Word, Power Point

The competitive Pay Range for this role is $85k-$105k annually. Actual pay will be determine based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factor permitted by law.
