In Huntsville we are currently hiring for Finishers, Screeners and Operators. We would like to invite you to partake in our virtual career fair to identify and hire outstanding talent for these critical roles at the site. Hourly pay rate for these roles begins at $18.92.
- Operate all equipment in a manner that complies with all safety procedures, reporting any unsafe condition to leadership.
- Properly identify and segregate any rework material that is removed from the process., as properly identify and segregate scrap to prevent contamination.
- Screen and pack quality parts and ensure all customer specifications and requirements are met.
- Set up stamp and label machines properly for each lot.
- Understanding of various customer specifications by using specifications database.
- Complete any paperwork requirements associated with job assignment.
- Close Lot packages and investigate count errors.
- Expert on all equipment in assigned area which may include frit blasters, production saws, etc.
- Disposition of parts/products in question.
- Operate forklift as necessary.
- Monitor oven temperatures.
- Troubleshoot equipment
- Work with minimal supervision
As a Finisher you will…
- Follow all work instructions on each job task which operator as received proper training.
- Promote a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
- Properly identify, segregate, and store all rework material.
- Screen, pack, and label completed parts following customer specification and requirements.
- Understand customer specifications by using specifications database.
- Contribute to maintaining scrap levels at or below established goals.
- Complete all documentation associated with job assignments.
- Participate in process continuous improvement efforts.
- Notify Team Leader of excess scrap.
- Perform all duties in compliance with safety standards and specifications.
- Operate all equipment in a manner that complies with all safety procedures.
- Report any unsafe conditions to Team Leader.
As an Operator you will…
- Assure coating slurry and raw substrates meet required specifications, starts equipment to transfer slurry to the coater machine.
- Set scale limits and pump operation pressure to assure proper slurry supply to coating machine.
- Enter production information into computer for lot packages, downtime sheets and SAP.
- Follow work instructions, and specification sheets, sets and controls coating machines to regulate speed of coating, flow of chemical slurries, and temperature of drying ovens to maintain specified customer quality requirements.
- Utilize work instructions to guide and troubleshoot coater systems and make appropriate adjustments to assure proper coater operation.
- Clean and maintains coating machines and associated feed tanks, plumbing and pumps.
- Properly completes administrative entries associated with coater operations such as Process Lot Tickets, standard process control charts and other operations forms.
- Load substrates onto a line or packs substrates into boxes.
- Utilize a forklift to maneuver parts/materials in the area.
- Screen parts for quality issues.
Qualifications...
- High School Diploma/GED, required
- 2 or more years of manufacturing production work related experience, required
- 2 or more years operating machines, preferred
- Ability to trouble shoot the assigned process preferred
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations while performing tasks which may require multiple steps preferred
