As a Multi-Craft Technical Trainer, you will……..

The Multi-Craft Technical Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, administering, and continuously improving the technical training and qualification program for the Maintenance Multi-Craft Technicians within the HSV manufacturing environment.

This position requires extensive hands-on industrial experience across mechanical, electrical, controls, instrumentation, and troubleshooting disciplines, combined with the ability to effectively transfer technical knowledge to technicians with varying levels of experience.

The Technical Trainer will serve as the primary administrator of the Maintenance department’s technician qualification program, ensuring required training, demonstrated competencies, assessments, and practical qualifications are consistently documented and tracked. The position will work closely with Maintenance and Engineering leadership to ensure advancement from one technician level to the next is based on clearly defined, measurable, and demonstrated technical competencies.

The successful candidate will have the technical credibility to train experienced maintenance personnel while also possessing the organizational, communication, documentation, and administrative skills necessary to manage a structured technical development program.

Your elements for success……

• Associated degree preferred
• 10+ years demonstrated experience in industrial maintenance as a Multi-Craft, Senior Maintenance, Controls, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing, process, or similar industrial environment required
• Strong hands-on background in both mechanical and electrical troubleshooting required
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex manufacturing equipment and production systems required
• Previous experience training, mentoring, qualifying, or developing maintenance personnel required
• Advanced working knowledge of bearings and lubrication, gearboxes and power transmission, pumps and piping, pneumatics, hydraulics, alignment and mechanical installation, precision measurement, and preventive/predictive maintenance preferred
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors and motor circuits, motor starters, VFDs, control circuits, schematics, sensors and instrumentation, test equipment, and electrical troubleshooting required
• Advanced working knowledge of PLC fundamentals and troubleshooting, I/O, HMI systems, industrial communication networks, process instrumentation, and automated manufacturing equipment required
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite of products

The competitive Pay Rate for this role is $43-$55/hr. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
