Production Administration Assistant

Location: Hofors, Sweden on site

We are currently looking for a Production Administration Assistant to join our on-site operations. In this role, you will be responsible for tracking materials throughout their lifecycle at Hofors, ensuring all movements are accurately documented, labelled, and registered in our systems in a timely and compliant manner.

This is a hands-on administrative role within a production environment, requiring strong attention to detail, good system knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Create production orders and material labels, ensuring all information is accurately recorded in line with site procedures
Maintain the integrity of site stock and production planning by keeping accurate inventory records in the system
Support cycle counts, backlog checks, and inventory reconciliations
Ensure safe, timely, and compliant dispatch of materials by correctly recording all materials leaving site, including customs and risk documentation where required
Work closely with third-party logistics providers and drivers to support smooth inbound and outbound material flows
Promote and maintain high safety standards by following site safety rules and reporting near misses or unsafe conditions
Support smooth plant operations and timely material availability by operating fork trucks and other vehicles to unload, move, store, and stage materials when required
Carry out other reasonable tasks as assigned by the manager to support business needs

Your Profile

Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably within a production or manufacturing plant
Strong computer literacy with at least 12 months’ experience working with ERP or similar systems (SAP experience is highly desirable)
High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage data in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and confidence working with external partners such as logistics providers and drivers
Experience working within a plant environment is an advantage
Forklift (fork truck) licence is beneficial
