Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to drive quarterly SPA (Strategic Path Analysis for 5 years) for EMEA; capture, analyze and distribute data to the right stakeholders.
  • Drives analysis of regional market intelligence and competitive intelligence to assist in the development of global goals, targets and processes. Analyzes and reports insights to performance and strategy of our customers and competitors.
  • Responsible for data management of the market model for our target customers. Provides regional market intelligence and input to the global marketing organization to assist in the development of global strategies, goals and processes. Supports the implementation of processes and systems to identify and monitor primary market drivers.
  • Supports strategic marketing initiatives, strategic scenario planning, asset planning activities and asset related projects.
  • Supports in interfacing between regional operational teams (production, supply chain, quality, other regional functions) and global marketing segments for overarching topics relevant for the region.
  • Main point of contact for marketing information for customer interaction in the regions
  • (e.g. market presentation/trends, etc.). Supports development of management presentations and status reports.
  • Maintains and supports continuous improvement of the relevant modules in CatMaps:
  • (especially Marketing and Sales input, Global Competition Database, interfaces to Price Approval Database, interfaces to Specright).

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree required; MBA a plus; in economics, business administration or comparable areas.
  • 2+ years of experience in Marketing, Sales and/or Product Management required in a comparable role.
  • Experience in automotive market segments or related industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience building and deploying best practice commercial tools and processes in a global business.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong marketing acumen with a solid foundation for market fundamentals.
  • Strong project management, communication (written & verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills required.
  • Entrepreneurial with high level of tolerance for ambiguity and willingness to take calculated risks and implement novel market approaches.
  • Willingness to question the status quo & challenge current methodologies to achieve best-in-class practices.
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused & resourceful individual with strong follow through.
