Product Manager (Japanese Market and J-OEMs)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Product Launch Strategy and Scenario Planning
• Optimize technology portfolio in line with business strategy
• Drives operational and cost excellence for Japan market and ECMS- NECC JV sites 
• Support asset strategy and optimization
• Support CAPEX strategy and regional plan incl. investment triggers / timing
• Act as technology and manufacturing business partner to support execution plans  
• Implement new and existing products strategies cross-functionally including overall product life cycle such as product development, launch, and end-of-serial production
• Align commercial product strategies with customer / market needs to achieve profit targets for NECC and ECMS segment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, marketing, engineering, or related field, MBA preferred
• 5+ years of wide-ranging proven experience in a comparable role. E.g. product management, pricing, commercial asset optimization, finance, RD&A, sales, operations, commercial strategy or other relevant experience
• Ability to communicate at various levels in the organization (technical, multi-function, senior leadership)
• Analytical skills required combined with the ability to consolidate overall insights into a few key messages in a highly collaborative work environment
• Experience with driving P&L profit growth over time consistently a plus
• Fluent language-skills in German and English
