As a Latin America Account Manager Temperature Sensing – Industrial Sector you will LEAD by……….
- Developing and overseeing accounts for the industrial sector in Temperature Sensing with specific focus on the Latin American region.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of strategic growth plans for the business and will be responsible for meeting the designated objectives of the business.
- Executing all commercial and technical activities to strategically grow the business in Latin America and possibly US and managing the sales activities to meet the business objectives.
- Maintaining responsibility for business requirements of both the Thermocouple and Optical product lines in Temperature Sensing.
- Interacting with all levels of the customer's organization and establishing oneself as the face of the company in accounts which includes, as required, travel to Latin America, estimated 50% minimum.
- Determining proper usage of technical and marketing resources to maximize image and opportunities to introduce new products, develop sales leads, document customer visits, enter opportunities into salesforce to include sampling, addressing pricing requests, implementing price increases, negotiating contracts, monitoring status of ongoing projects and mining for new opportunities.
- Acquiring a relevant technical knowledge of products and technology portfolio and to stay abreast of main competitor activities and market trends.
- Making quick decisions as they deem necessary and will have a high level of autonomy concerning the path of the business.
- Interfacing with internal customer service to provide proper pricing guidance, customer assistance, and production to review customer requirements and help determine priority orders if required.
- Providing technical assistance, to assist in evaluations and provide help in new product development.
Your elements for success……
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience, is required. Bachelor's degree in other technical disciplines may be considered if candidate has significant experience in industry.
- 3+ years’ work experience in sales, strategic growth, and market analysis required
- Proficiency/Fluency in Spanish required, and knowledge of Portuguese a plus.
- Ability to develop strategic market growth plans and penetrate large account organizations and manage complex projects.
- Results driven, customer oriented, resilient and a reliable team player with a strong commitment.
- Enthusiastic, organized, self-motivated, with the ability to make technical and marketing presentations.
- Proficient in Microsoft based programs.
- Experience in glass operations and furnace operations with background in control theory, optical pyrometers, and thermocouple technology a plus
- Marketing and/or Project Management experience a plus

The competitive Pay Range for this role is $90,000K-$140,000K annually. Actual pay will be determine based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factor permitted by law.
