As the Global Product Manager, Temperature Sensing (TS) you will LEAD by……….
Focusing on driving revenue growth and profitability margin expansion primarily by collaborating with different functions such as Sales, Application Technology, Product Development, Manufacturing, Operations, Controlling through partnership to (1) gain profitable market share, (2) develop and implement pricing strategies, (3) develop new products that meets customer needs and enables us to capture additional value, (4) end-to-end profit and operational analysis for optimal business performance for PGM (Platinum Group Metal products) and non-PGM elements of our business, etc.
Success is measured by effective business management of the existing line, and development and implementation of a profitable growth strategies in all regions globally focusing on external and internal measures.
The incumbent is a key member of the TS leadership team, and partners with members to develop and implement the overall business plan.
In this role you will manage the key business flows:
Margin Management
- Responsible for the margin management of the TS portfolio globally
- Ownership of pricing and pricing process
- Initiates activities to reduce costs from the system, including overall end-to-end PGM (Platinum Group Metals) and non-PGM activities
- Customer bids
- Cost and complexity optimization of the TS portfolio by optimizing end-to-end activities
Portfolio Management
- Responsible for product portfolio strategy per market segments
- Monitors competitive landscape; identifies business opportunities, risks, and unmet needs
- Supports product development and product launch activities
- Coordinates growth projects cross-business functions and within ECMS.
- Actively participates and decides on product related topics on supply chain, planning, quality, regulatory, product allocation, etc.
- Value chain optimization and capital projects
Contract Management
- Partners with Sales for 3rd party agreements
- Partners with Technology Manager to optimize tollers and / or suppliers
Forecast and short-term budget process
- Business financial forecasting in collaboration with Sales, Controlling, Operations, etc.
- Responsible to develop the short-term plan
Your elements for success……
- BA/BS required: a degree in Engineering, or extensive experience in relevant raw materials and markets. MBA Preferred
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in sales, marketing, product management, procurement.
- Demonstrated analytical, organizational, reporting and communication skills plus business acumen are required.
- Knowledge of pricing, business planning, budgeting and forecasting methodology is required.
- Experienced in working in complex, interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams with ability to build organizational alignment cross-functionally through collaboration and trust
- Proven track record of achieving short-term financial results while developing and implementing long-term measures
- Understanding of PGMs, and/or semiconductor/industrial glass is a plus but not needed
- Must be willing and able to travel 20% of the time, including internationally

The competitive Pay Range for this role is $115k-$135k annually. Actual pay will be determine based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factor permitted by law.
