BASF Metals Recycling is part of a standalone subsidiary dedicated to its Mobile Emissions Catalysts, Precious Metals Trading, Recycling and related Products and Services business. The group is referred to as Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions (ECMS) and is wholly owned by BASF. Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions operates globally in over 15 countries and comprises of approximately 20 production sites and over 4,000 employees.

Join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in our Supply Chain operations in Cinderford, Gloucestershire.

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to manage various aspects of our logistics processes.

 

What you will be doing

 

You will become our Blend Specialist which will involve:

 

  • Reviewing the  backlog of stock and creating blends of batches for our internal and external refiners.
  • Preparing  blends with flux additives for our site in Sweden.

 

European SAP Support:

 

  • You will provide remote support for production, and supply chain SAP tasks to our sister site in Sweden.
  • You will assist with receipts, process orders, and occasionally arrange transportation.

 

Tolling Coordinator:

 

  • You will maintain logs of materials sent offsite for tolling operations.
  • Develop professional relationships with tollers and arrange domestic transport.
  • Manage appropriate waste documentation.

 

General Supply Chain Tasks:

 

  • Support and provide cover for other Cinderford supply chain tasks, including imports, exports, recording weights in SAP, and arranging international transport solutions.

 

What we need

  • Strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Preferable knowledge of SAP.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration with internal and external colleagues.
  • Enjoy working with figures and have a keen eye for detail.

  • This is a full-time position, Mon to Fri , but we are happy to consider applicants who are interested in a part-time position which must  include  Mon to Fri cover.
