Commercial Support/Supply Chain Digital Analyst

The Role

This position sits at the heart of our Global Commercial and Supply Chain operations, where you’ll play a key role in transforming how we work. You’ll identify opportunities to digitise processes, improve data quality and visibility, and deliver scalable solutions that help the business operate more efficiently and effectively.

This is a hands-on role combining business analysis, technical development, and stakeholder collaboration, where your work will have a direct impact on operational performance and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify and deliver opportunities to automate and simplify manual or inefficient processes
• Analyse current workflows, systems, and data flows to uncover inefficiencies and risks
• Design and implement scalable, user-friendly digital solutions in partnership with IT and Digital teams
• Continuously optimise solutions to ensure they evolve with business needs

Solution Design & Delivery

• Gather and challenge business requirements to ensure the right problems are being solved
• Design and build practical, maintainable solutions that balance speed, simplicity, and security
• Develop, test, and deploy solutions across a range of business platforms and tools
• Take ownership of solutions throughout their lifecycle, from development to enhancement and retirement

Systems, Data & Reporting

• Build automated data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting solutions
• Develop high-quality Power BI dashboards with strong data models and clear insights
• Improve data integrity and governance across systems
• Enable self-service analytics and reduce reliance on manual reporting

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with operational teams to understand challenges and drive adoption of new solutions
• Translate technical concepts into clear business language
• Partner with IT, Cyber Security, and Digital teams to ensure compliance with standards
• Support change management through training, documentation, and transition activities

Governance & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure all solutions meet data protection and security requirements
• Maintain technical and functional documentation
• Follow best practice development and release processes
• Stay up to date with emerging tools and technologies, proactively driving innovation

About You

We’re looking for a proactive and analytical problem-solver who enjoys making things better, faster, and simpler.

Essential Skills & Experience

• IT-related qualification or a minimum of 2 years experience in digital solutions, automation, or systems development
• Strong experience developing Power BI dashboards, including data modelling
• Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, data transformation, live data connections)
• Proven experience with VBA development and automation
• Experience using Python for data automation and integration
• Experience building and managing database solutions (e.g. Microsoft Access or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on simplification

Desirable

• Experience with low-code / no-code platforms or workflow tools
• Exposure to APIs and system integrations
• Understanding of software development lifecycle 
• Experience in a complex or regulated business environment
