Objectives of the Position

  • Supporting Quality Assurance functions at the site and representing Site QA function in the Global / Regional Quality initiatives.

 

 

Main Tasks

Continuous Process Improvement

 

    • Collection and analysis of data for products. Reporting for both internal and external customers.
    • Participation in Internal and External audits Manufacturing Support and Quality Assurance
    • Internal Quality technical contact
    • Review of catalyst process-FMEA and control plans for continued suitability and amendment
    • Generates Quality data for PPAP and serial production
    • Coordinates for preparation of PPAP documentation (new launches and manufacturing changes)
    • Monitors process performance
    • Drive variance reduction
    • Stop manufacturing processes in cases of non-compliant products
    • Ensures implementation of globally aligned best practices for:
    • Quality control testing, product inspection, data reporting, and sharing information with the customer
    • Lead effort to investigate and resolve customer/tier 1 issues Customer and Functional Support

 

    • Support Global Customer Quality Assurance Engineer
    • Investigate customer complaints
    • Interact with customer and tier 1 on site specific topics
    • Escalate significant issues or developments identified
    • Provides input to customer related reports
    • Supports the Product Life Cycle process for Quality requirements
    • To review his process performance and analyse in case of any deviation & evaluate the action plan & its effectiveness.
    • Review & update internal & external issues in his process & update risk assessment study periodically
    • Review internal & external stakeholder requirements of his process periodically.
    • Taking accountability for the effectiveness of the QMS implementation

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

 

 

Education: B.E / B. Tech in Engineering in Mechanical/Chemical or Master degree in Chemistry.

Working Experience: Minimum 5 Years

Technical & Professional Knowledge: Knowledge of Automobile Industry/ Manufacturing field
