Precious Metal Tracking and Refining is at the core of what we do - This job exists to deliver best-in-class Precious Metals Tracking and Refining applications
This job will increase business and operational efficiency by ensuring software more quickly responds to user needs without impacting quality
The role requires coordination between business and functional teams as well as the outsourcing provider to deliver business requirements

Main Tasks

Understand current technology utilized and customer requirements of SAP Precious Metals tracking and refining solutions to identify opportunities for improvement
Design systems with high levels of availability and scalability in an agile fashion – specify materials, manpower, and time necessary
Work with developers to ensure stakeholder needs are understood and confirm development follows established processes
Engage business throughout development lifecycle to ensure that solutions appropriately addresses business needs
Improve development and release processes for PM products (e.g. through automation)
Maintain adherence to project plans and timelines, escalating risks and identifying key mitigants for timely application development
Manage testing and support for PM solution development – ensure safety and security against cybersecurity threats
Identify and implement business and operational improvements to PM application landscape in collaboration with business
Identify technical problems and develop software updates or fixes – work closely with other professionals to maintain software where needed
Work closely with Business and D&A team on ETL and reporting requirements.
Manage backlog (of requests) in an agile manner
Work closely with 3rd party service provider

Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position

Bachelor’s degree in engineering and master’s in computer application

10+ years of experience in technical field

Hands-on experience in ABAP development, debugging, and integration scenarios
Good understanding of one or more SAP functional modules such as OTC
Experience in FIORI, CDS, Odata, services
Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork, issue resolution, negotiation, and provider management
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations

Technical & Professional Knowledge: (Please be measurable and specific)
- Fluency (written and verbal) in English required
- ABAP Programming
- ABAP development experience
- SAP functional module
