As a chemicals supplier to almost all industries, BASF will establish a standalone subsidiary dedicated to its Mobile Emissions Catalysts, Precious Metals Trading, Recycling, and related Products and Services business. The new group is referred to as BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions and is wholly owned by BASF. BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions will operate globally in over 15 countries and comprise of approximately 20 production sites and over 4,000 employees.

Purpose of the job:
Manage all commercial and technical activities for growing OEMs in ASEAN, mainly in India. Accountable for the P&L, except China. Provide strong leadership internally and externally to ensure sustainable profitably and growth of the ECMS business. Communicate effectively with the key account team members. Own management relations to respective OEMs like Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Tata, etc., and ensure robust pricing, claim management, and working-capital discipline across the value chain. On top, this role must apply strong cost discipline for RD&A, Selling, and Raw Material efforts.
Education: Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in engineering/chemical or Master's degree in business preferably with specialization in automotive sales, advanced degree and/or additional degree in economics / marketing a strong plus.
Professional Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in the automotive industry, ideally Key Account Management.
Knowledge/Skills required:
High level negotiations skills are required in English language
Effective communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent priorities shifting.
Strong willingness to frequently travel internationally to support global setup.
