  • Leads the team General Ledger, Management and Tax Accounting. Manages co-operation with the accounting team of BPO (Accenture).
  • Manages the closing of the Polish entity pursuant to IFRS and Polish statutory requirements in close cooperation with the BPO (Accenture), and ECMS Global Process Owners.
  • Draws statutory financial statements and co-ordinates the process of their approval and submitting.
  • Assures preparation and submittal of tax returns and other financial statements required by the law in co-operation with external tax advisors (Big4).
  • Secures adherence to ECMS accounting and reporting, as well as & compliance requirements.
  • Acts as key contact to local auditors and other external parties.
  • Supports response to tax audits.
  • Advises management and coordinate solutions to accounting and IFRS related issues.
  • Fulfills and submits other regulatory reporting obligations of the Group in coordination with the respective global or local regulatory instructions.
  • Ensures knowledge management of Accounting & Reporting topics within the Polish entity.
  • Proposes and implements approved process improvements.




  • Master degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience with focus on accounting and taxation.
  • Fluency in business English.
  • Deep knowledge of accounting processes, preferably in a manufacturing company.
  • Profound knowledge of statutory accounting requirements, and knowledge of local taxation.
  • Experience with IFRS.
  • Experienced with MS Office, SAP – experience with S4/Hana is asset.
  • Capability to understand technical background of functional requirements and implement solutions in collaboration with functions and IT.
  • Communicative skills at all levels in the organization and strategic and analytical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Ability to organize work, systematic approach to problem resolution.
